This model is actually closer in apperance to a sdkfz 6 than a sdkfz 7 model.
ReplyDeleteNot a Sdkfz 7 nor a Sdkfz 6 , this cheap and cheerful model is a reasonable representation of the 12 ton Sdkfz 8. And the only model of a Sdkfz 8 in 1/72 ejection moulded plastic, as far as I know. And as shown above, a very nice model can be build out of this kit. My only comment is about the tracks. As supplied they are below standard, and ideally should be replaced.
ReplyDeleteKfz 76s for the Dak project, don’t worry, I didn’t know what a Kfz 76 was either, even though I am a former artilleryman, it was a German truck mounted artillery observation/range finding vehicle, it was mounted on a couple of very similar truck chassis, one of which was the einheitsdiesel, I found the base model file. {Kfz Gutachter München}
