Modelcollect 1/72 Bulgarian E-100 Stug Gun / by Kürşat Kaan Kerimoğlu

Hello everyone,

Kürşat's Bulgarian tanks project continues with a What-if vehicle. The E-100 Stug was completed as a Bulgarian tank.

A successful model with a nice weathering application. Congratulations Kürşat..

Erhan…

Bulgarian markings
A smaller white cross was used from 1941 in Armoured Regiments for air identification and a larger black diagonal cross was supposed to be shown within a white square for assault gun detachments although in practice it was usually just highlighted in white around the edges of the cross. This diagonal cross can be found liberally applied to the fronts, sides, and rear of tank and turrets and on the roof of a variety of tanks. Some crosses were very carefully painted on and highlighted and others rather hastily applied either individually or in conjunction with various slogans. Not all vehicles have used this diagonal cross however and some can be seen with large red communist stars outlined in white instead as recognizable symbols.

1/72 What if D-Day Diorama by AT-AT (by Hakan Alakoç)

Hello

Hakan Alakoç is our guest with an interesting work.

What can be added to a D-Day Normandy scene?

Hakan Alakoç added an AT-AT, which we remember from the Star Wars series.
Maybe scales a problem. AT-AT is 1/53 scale because ..
It's a what-if diorama and I think scale should never be a problem.

Hakan has completed an interesting and very successful diorama ..
Congratulations and welcome to "miniafv"

Everything seems normal..Here is the Airfix Higgins LCVP..

the figures are painted..

making the base..

And the first stage .. An ordinary Normandy day.. Victory of the Allies !!

And the second scene .. Where are these Allies :)

Revell 1/72 Leopard 2 A4 What-if camo (by Ziya Aydın)

Hello,

Miniafv family and model lovers. Being here is as exciting as ever....

"Leopard" is one of the most well-known and powerful tanks in modern world.

I previously made the Leopard model in accordance with the color guide. We all know the classic NATO tank colors. Dark green, brown and black etc.

This time, I left the camouflage of the Leopard tank to my own imagination.

Cheer up! I wish you all the better work.
Ziya...

Thank you for sharing Ziya, very nice camouflage

Plastic Soldier + S-Model 1/72 Pzkfw Nebelwerfer 41 M(5) (+M5 Stuart) /by Numba Toby

Hello dear friends,

Today we have a guest. I will share a foreign friend's model every month. Today we have Toby de Castro (nick name is   Numba Toby) from the Philippines.

Abandoned US Army M5's left during fighting in the Hedgrow around Carentan, France where quickly hauled away hoping they could be of use against their former owners. German engineers enjoyed the low maintenance and wonderful cross country performance of the M5's but were disappointed with the 37mm main gun. Wanting to take advantage of their booty, the Germans mounted the 5-tube 21cm Nebelwerfer 41 rocket launcher and converted the fast tank into a fast mobile rocket launcher system. Prior to launching its payload, the tube launchers would be rotated to the 9 or 3 o'clock position to avoid damaging the engine or burning the items on the stowage rack. This vehicle would become the grandfather of the modern M270 MLRS *

This is a fictitious tank converted to a mobile rocket launcher. This vehicle never existed (nor does the book I supposedly wrote). This was a subject inspired by a good friend Dr. Raphael Marbella who showed me a photo of a Neb 41 on a Matilda Tank.

I remember completing this in 2014 and this is the combination of the Plastic Soldier Co. M5 Stuart tank and an S Model Nebelwerfer 41 2cm rocket launcher.

S-Model Nebelwerfer 42 bathed with Vallejo Model Air German Grey.

Neb 42 with a little highlighting and wash.

Tried to see how the German Grey rocket launcher looked with the chipped/faded Dark Yellow.
