Military Wheels & Revell 1/72 Egyptian T-34 Spg 122 mm **first page** (by Erhan Atalay)

Hello dear modeller,

When I saw this tank, I said it should be mine. Of course I thought of the 1/72 scale model .. A little research and Military Wheels molded this kit. Great coincidence, this kit was in Burak Çınar, (a member of the miniafv team.)

However, this company's kit quality is scary.   Kits made with short-run technique .. So sandpaper, putty, sandpaper, putty .... So I got support from other kits..

Today I share the in-box review and production steps of the kit...

Erhan...

started with this photo..

aftermarket barrel..(from RB)

Started in 2015...turret parts ..
from the kit's content

which barrel do you prefer?

Comparison for sizes..
Which body ...

I preferred Revell body. Tracks, wheels, body etc. are completely Revell

Military-Wheels 1/72 2S6M Tunguska completed model (Burak Özdil)

This is my lastest Russian. 2S6M Tunguska Air Defence System.
Kit manufacturer Military Whells, details are poor, lost of mold mistakes etc... I started to build chasis quickly. All parts assembled very well but this is silence before the storm :) Tracks have constructional fault! Both tracks are 6 - 7 mm out of chasis! (normally 1,5mm in 1/72 scale) This is very big trouble. Now model look like "snow car" I wanted to realese model when I saw this problem but back for rescue one day later. I used heavily construction on model, Rebuilt chasis.
Turret built easily than chasis. It suprised for me. Added some details for radar and weapon systems. Models orginal canon barrels look little pins! (orginal part above scratch canon) so all canons scratch built, added some parts on missle systems.
Painted with Revell Enamel 9 Testors olive drap Testors sand I used UHU-TAC for camuflage.

Military-Wheels 1/72 2S6M Tunguska / first page (Burak Özdil)

Hi,
Here is Burak's pirate project for Plastic Battle forum..I added the following Forum's texts. Of course the articles in Turkish, tried to translate.
Erhan...

Burak said,
Details too bad. I was shocked when I open the model. I read bad comments as a kit, but I didn't expect this much. But the most interesting parts are super fit.

The body quickly merged, joints, such as some sufficient to puty. But there is an oddity. Unbelievable but true! Tracks are left outside...

trash or an operation... operation of course... First, I cut  the wheels with  dremel .  Not successful. I wanted to closer to the body.  Then I cut directly in half the body. Where the track meets and body, I put the PVC sheet. Shall be firm.

Turret was not difficult to combine. The only problem pits on parts. Assembling is finished as soon as after the puty and sanding. But the radar and weapons systems do not have details! I made additions for details. Thin wires, plastic sticks, copper wires, etc..

(Tomorrow,  I will also add the finished this model.. Erhan)
