Flyhawk Model 1/72 Renault FT-17 Light Tank (Cast Turret) / by Şerif Sadık

Dear friends,

I would like to share my latest project with you. I have been doing research on WW1 at the level of curiosity for a while and this pushed me to make a WW1 project. I wanted to evaluate the 1/72 scale FT-17 kit I have. Many of our experienced modeler friends have knowledge, but in case there may still be those who are curious, to briefly talk about the kit; There are enough sprues to produce 2 tanks from the box. In addition, although not very detailed, the PE parts in the box definitely increase the quality of the model. For this reason, it is 100% recommended for 72 scale lovers..

Please have a look at our box review article.: https://miniafv.blogspot.com/2015/08/flyhawk-model-172-renault-ft-17-light.html

Back to the project, during the assembly of the tank, while I was digging through the reference photos, I came across a photo with some French soldiers and a caisson cart in the background. Therefore my vignette idea was conceptualized. For this reason, I believe that 2 horses, a cart and a few French soldiers, which I printed with my 3D printer, took my vignette to the next level. As a result, it was a work that I felt comfortable with, except for a few mistakes that caught my eye in the photos.See you next time.  Keep with miniafv.

Italeri 1/72 T-34/76 Model 1943 (by Şerif Sadık)

Hello dear modeller,

The model was kit 7078 from Italeri. However, since it seemed like it would be very boring to make a T-34 model out of the box, I wanted to make at least a small addition.

Onur Uz, a valuable member of our group, printed the 3D mine roller design in the link (https://cults3d.com/en/3d-model/game/pt-34-mine-roller-for-russian-s-tank-1-50eme) with the SLA 3D printer. When the kit and 3D parts came together, I wanted to complete the resulting thematic model with a base and this is the result.

Happy modelling,

Şerif Sadık...

Dragon 1/72 M1A1 Abrams (by Şerif Sadık)

Hello,

October is a special month... In the summer, miniafv team members organized an Abrams campaign. This month, we will share our members' Abrams campaign models.

The third model of the campaign belongs to Şerif Sadık. Dragon's M1A1 Abrams kit. And again somewhere in the Middle East..

A very good result for this kit, congratulations Şerif..

Erhan...

Hello dear modeler,

I am here with my model that I made to contribute to the M1 Abrams group build, which was initiated among miniafv team members in the past period. First of all, I would like to thank our valuable member Burak Özdil for gifting the kit. Not only the kit, it was a very kind thought to send the decals of the Revell kit instead of the faulty decals of the Dragon kit. Thanks Burak sensei :)

The general construction process of the kit was easy, I just wanted to replace the detail-less rear basket with 3d printing. I thought it wouldn't hurt to print a little stowage while the printer was involved. Then the model was painted with vallejo and ammo paints. I thought that there should be a vignette in order to be a model worthy of the miniafv group build and I tried to reveal the vignette with details added with 3d prints. I had a lot of fun making this model, I hope you will like it too.

Have fun.
