Revell 1/72 Leopard 2A6 HEL- page 2 (By Burak Özdil)

Hi,
Burak Özdil, continues to the story about Leopard.
Erhan..
.
.
.
Now turret is starting it means second half of the war!!! A6 - EX turret’s up side completly different from A5 and German A6’s.
I cut with heat uppur side.

And used Evergreen plastic plate again for make upside...

Measuring and cutting processes completed. It’s time to place

Perfectly settled!!!

Hullside finished after engine component completed...

I turned hull side for making headlights. I spent lots of times on lights...

Added wire & PE parts, made side baskets and rear side of turret and finally finished!!!

Now it’s painting time...
Leopard 2A6 HEL camouflage has speciel pattern. It looks like US ARMY’s MERDC camouflage...
I’m using UHU-TAC for making pattern

to be continued..last page is about completed model...

  3. trust us greeks to buy something that you need tons of effort to convert...makes life and modelling interesting though doesn't it? the rear baskets are a particularly notorious point with model builders....in 1/35 they have issued a conversion for the whole turret....a greek company has done the conversion in resin....
