Hello Mates,

 I have been collecting Hungarian-themed model sets for a long time.  I have built quite a few of these vehicles in recent years.  My biggest Hungarian-themed project so far (about 2 months) is the MAZ-537 tank transporter with the T-72M tank on it.

  The Takom MAZ kit is very nice and it was fun to build.  I just replaced the handrails with copper wire and made the homemade towing cables.  

Unfortunately, the Russian aftermarket sets are hardly available, so I almost gave up on the resin wheels, but I got a complete set of wheels from Armada Hobby (András thanks for the help).  So I had the resin wheels.  Although the set's rubber tires are nice, the robust resin wheels look better.

 Unfortunately, the finished model does not show the most spectacular improvements made to the trailer, but some photos were taken of the planks I made from balsa wood.

 The T-72M is a Revell kit, for which I used Hauler's photo etching + some homemade tuning on the turret.  I also replaced the towing cables with self-made ones.  I had a set of rollers from the previously built Modelcollect set, which I saw as nicer than Revell's own, so I replaced them as well.

 The base is a simple "square concrete" that I made from cardboard sheets.

Revell 1/72 Leopard 2PL (Polish Army) by Burak Özdil

Burak Özdil's Leopard series continues with Poland Leopard 2. 

For this tank, he used the Revell Leopard 2 kit and the after market ModelTrans conversion set.

A very nice tank with successful camouflage... Congratulations my friend..

Mirage Hobby 1/72 M3 Lee MK 1 (by Kürşat Kaan Kerimoğlu)

 

Hello dear modeller, 

I finished the Medium Tank Lee Mk.1 kit produced by Mirage Hobby as it came out of the box and painted it Beige. The kit gave me a lot of trouble during the construction of the model. There was a lot of plastic residues between the plastic parts and removing these residues required serious patience.

I used Tamiya's Beige product during the painting phase of the model. I modulated the color by gradually lightening this color on Tamiya Flesh. I tried to save the paint on the vehicle from monotony by using white oil paint. I applied chipping to the edges of the model using oil paint in Raw Umber color.

I placed the decals applied on the vehicle in place with the Micro Sol-Set duo. I finished the model with very light weathering. Unfortunately, I could not reach the color tone I wanted in this model and washing instead of highlighting the protruding parts caught my eye as another mistake..
